Multi-Aperture Core Product Description

Our multi-aperture cores are available in 73, 43, 61 NiZn, and high frequency 67 materials. These cores are specifically designed and controlled for impedance and AL value, depending on the material type. Here are some key points about our products:

• 73 and 43 material cores are controlled for impedance only
• 61 NiZn material cores are controlled for both impedance and AL value
• 67 high frequency material cores are controlled for AL value
• Minimum impedance values are specified for marked frequencies
• The minimum impedance is typically the listed impedance less 20%
• All impedance measurements are performed using the E4990A Impedance Analyzer for 73 and 43 material cores, and the E4991A / HP4291B Impedance Analyzer for 61 and 67 material cores
• Impedance measurements are conducted with a single turn to both holes and the shortest practical wire length
• 61 and 67 material multi-hole beads are tested for AL value at a frequency of 10 kHz and < 10 gauss magnetic field
• The test winding consists of five turns wound through both holes
